PLANS Large plans for development or activities for the timeskip, etc.
SUMMARY OF KNOWN DETAILS Lumina will be working on developing her Chocobo ranch into an actual ranch and not the three-birds-and-a-little-girl that it is right now. With the death of the Jabberwhelp and her attitude being shaken somewhat, she'll also be turning more towards learning how to actually fight, and not just be a little pest. Somewhat. When it amuses her.
Her seelie friends may find she isn't speaking to them much, because she's going to finally be pretty pissed at the other side of the war, instead of just not caring. Anyone who is friends with her on the unseelie side can expect to have her drop by at least once a week just to check in and say hi and be a pest. She's not exactly good at being by herself, and the loss of the lockets is going to hit her hard.
TIMELINE OF EVENTS
| SPRING IN 2,701 (Mar, Apr, May) |
- MARCH - During the cold spell, Lumina and Lemina will be working to get magical heating set up in Lumina's chocobo ranch. The second round of eggs will be born as well, numbers and colors not yet determined.
- APRIL - Lumina won't really mind the harp, her emotions are already pretty chaotic. That said, she is going to have a breakdown towards the end of the month that will result in her smashing the harp. Need someone to be around while she breaks down.
- May - Lumina will be hunting the swans for the cash money! Also people may find her training young chocobos in their magic while she does it! The third set of chocobo eggs will be born this month, numbers and colors not yet determined..
|
| SUMMER IN 2,701 (Jun, Jul, Aug) |
- June - As people prepare to clean up the Jabberwock stuff, Lumina will basically run away to a boat adventure with the Outsider in order to avoid thinking about it and getting sad again. She will be heading to the tournament in Treun to watch the excitement but won't be fighting!
- July - Lumina will return from sea adventures! The fourth clutch of chocobo eggs will be born here, numbers and colors to be determined. As the ranch becomes more crowded, Lumina's focus will be mostly on it for the next few months until she adjusts.
- August - Forest golems in the trees surrounding Lumina's ranch will do some small damage to the ranch and buildings there before being driven off by the chocobos and Lumina and whomever happens to be around. Lumina will be at the festival of light in Leathann!
|
| FALL IN 2,701 (Sept, Oct, Nov) |
- September - Lumina will be at the harvest festival, and probably watching the bread riots with great amusement. The language problems won't change how she speaks (FFXIII doesn't really have languages as a concept) but she won't be able to understand anyone who is not speaking 'English', for the sake of convenience!
- October SAMHEIN! Lumina may try to talk to the Black Shuck. The Fifth clutch of chocobo eggs will be born this month, however owing to the nature of the month, all eggs will be Black Chocobos.
- November - Lumina will have some run ins with the escaped prisoners, probably helping to catch them or letting them go depending on her whim, really.
|
| WINTER IN 2,701/2,702 (Dec, Jan, Feb) |
- December - Yule! Lumina will be getting gifts for all of her friends! She will also attempt to talk to the white hart, rather than hunt it, which may result in an animal transformation?
- January - Reclaiming her room in the rebuilt Caer Scima, being happy to see the city in one piece again. Shard training with Ganondorf/the shade in exchange for chocobos for his soldiers?
- February - Lumina will be at the feast, oblivious to the violence towards the elves! The first chocobo clutch of spring will be born, the largest yet as the various chocobos from last year begin to come of age.
|
| SPRING IN 2,702 (Mar, Apr) |
- March - Lumina will spend a chunk of the month protecting her ranch from the skeletons, until she's managed to teach her chocobos to kick the creature's skulls off. Several chocobos will be killed, which will have her pretty angry.
- April - Three of Lumina's imps will go missing! Along with many she is friends with in the court. She will be exceedingly upset and begin searching for them everywhere she can.

Summer 2071: June, July, August
Date: 2015-02-22 01:01 pm (UTC)In August, Lumina and her chocobos can be found trying to keep the rampaging forest golems from the nearby woods from doing too much damage, and will mostly succeed.
mid/late august!
Date: 2015-03-12 05:58 am (UTC)She'd ignore them if it weren't obvious they were headed to create more destruction on places for which it probably wouldn't be very convenient. Not far from sight of the ranch Katsa is trying to climb on top of a golem, almost trying to ride it, persistent and scowling and yelling with anger and surprise when a frightened chocobo streaks by her and distracts both her and the golem into her tumblr to the ground.
"Surely you don't want to die too, bird," she snaps at it, and spits out dirt and tries to stand.

Date: 2015-03-14 02:06 am (UTC)They warked, hopping back, and suddenly there was a flurry of fire and ice flashing forward to crash into the magical monster, freezing it's feet in place while lightning it's face on fire.
Lumina hadn't spotted the woman falling, her attention on the running chocobo, which she finally managed to catch up to, grabbing his bridle and hauling him up short.
"It's okay, calm down!" Yes she was yelling at a bird.

Date: 2015-03-18 03:28 am (UTC)"And I never even thought of doing that. Clearly I've a visit to pay."
She stomped away from it. Somehow every bit of this was making sense. Even the red and blue chocobos she faced when she turned away barely fazed her.
"...Of course. Am I to expect a purple fox next?"
This was directed in part to the chocobos themselves but also to Lumina, with a quick glance and then a double take when Katsa realizes she knows that face.

Date: 2015-03-18 06:26 am (UTC)"Nope, just purple birds." Lumina said with a grin, though she glanced around and then sighed. "Though they're...back at the ranch, I guess. Anyway, who're you and why are you here?"
Lumina was tired from fighting golems, she didn't have a lot of time for her usual snarky snideness.

Date: 2015-03-21 01:55 pm (UTC)Katsa jammed her dagger back into her boot and sighed. She'd long learn how to come to terms with expecting everything she'd never expect at all.
"Katsa." Lumina was above her on the chocobo's back, and Katsa strained her neck back to look up at her as she answered, disgruntled but even-voiced. "I saw that thing as I was on the road and chased it. Unless you mean to ask why I was on the road at all? Why I traveled south instead of north, and why I put my boots on my right foot before the left?"
...If Lumina didn't have time for the snark, Katsa did.

Date: 2015-03-22 01:18 pm (UTC)"I'm Lumina," she explained to the woman. "Have you seen any more of those?" She looked over at the smoldering golem. "We've been trying to keep them out of the ranch but..."
But it was not working. The other two chocobos came over now, the red one leaning down to snuff at Katsa curiously.

Date: 2015-03-24 10:08 pm (UTC)"A couple show up every few hours," Lumina said, her expression frustrated. "We've been alright so far, but they spook the younger chocobos and then I spend most of my time chasing them down while the older birds try to fight the golems."
A few of them had been hurt, though she hadn't lost any yet. Thank heavens.
June and July, 2071: A Shrine.
Date: 2015-04-29 08:25 pm (UTC)But she couldn't put it off forever, which was why she came picking her way through the ruins until she found it, marked by the distinct purple flowers Grell had told her about. It was simple enough, really, a quiet little spot away from most things. Peaceful, in a way, that was almost ironic given the chaos of the jabberwhelp's short life.
She stayed there for a while, longer than she meant to, walking around the little clearing and eventually just sitting on the grass, looking at the flowers. Flowers that marked a dead child, a dead child she'd tried to save and failed. It was...
Well, it just was. And she couldn't do anything about it.
Helplessness was not one of the things Lumina handled well. Oh, she could fake it, sure, but that's all it was...an act. She was rarely ever truly helpless. Except for now. Now there wasn't really anything she could do to fix this.
But maybe she could at least make it nicer...
It was hours later when she returned in a swirl of chaos, and this time there were two men with her, architects from Mair. Neither of them looked particularly happy to be there, most people didn't want to go near the ruins and Lumina's teleport hadn't helped anything.
But now they were stuck there with her, and had to listen as she laid out the general idea of what she wanted, walking in a wide circle around the flower grave, pointing things out, kicking stones out of the way, generally being far more flamboyant than would really be possible.
But the general idea was sound, and work started immediately. Over the next two months, the two men and others would be shuffled there by Lumina. They borrowed materials from the shattered nearby city, cleared out the weeds and set down the stones, building up pillars and benches and then planting new plants.
When they were finished, there was a simple black-stone pavilion that circled the flowers that marked the Jabberwhelp's grave. They rose up ten feet to meet a circular ceiling with a large hole in the center for the light to fade in. Benches were placed at the four directions, and plants of lavender were scattered all around, inside and out. Lumina wasn't sure how she'd get them to not die in the winter, but...she'd figure something out.
It looked almost like a little, gothic garden.
It still wasn't enough, but it made Lumina feel a little better, and that was something, right?
When it was all finished, the workers gone, the quiet returned, Lumina sat cross-legged on the ground in front of the now much larger flower bush. What had Grell said? If she ever wanted to talk to the baby...
Talking to the dead was something she knew all about, though back home they'd answered. They'd protected her, all those years she'd been in her own. But death was so different there, it wasn't so...final. Not like here.
So what was she supposed to say?
"I'm gonna find your dad," she decided, reaching out to run her fingers over the edges of the flower. No answer, of course, but she waited a little while anyway before she left...
