Lumina COURT Unseelie TITLE The Impling OCCUPATION Chocobo Breeder! ABLE TO FAST-TRAVEL Lumina can teleport to all of the major cities at this point, and about half of the minor ones. She is slowly collecting smaller ones when she gets bored. RESIDENCE IN 2,701 A small chocobo ranch on the outsiders of Mair, and her room at Caer Scima. PLANS Large plans for development or activities for the timeskip, etc. SUMMARY OF KNOWN DETAILS Lumina will be working on developing her Chocobo ranch into an actual ranch and not the three-birds-and-a-little-girl that it is right now. With the death of the Jabberwhelp and her attitude being shaken somewhat, she'll also be turning more towards learning how to actually fight, and not just be a little pest. Somewhat. When it amuses her. Her seelie friends may find she isn't speaking to them much, because she's going to finally be pretty pissed at the other side of the war, instead of just not caring. Anyone who is friends with her on the unseelie side can expect to have her drop by at least once a week just to check in and say hi and be a pest. She's not exactly good at being by herself, and the loss of the lockets is going to hit her hard. TIMELINE OF EVENTS SPRING IN 2,701 (Mar, Apr, May) MARCH - During the cold spell, Lumina and Lemina will be working to get magical heating set up in Lumina's chocobo ranch. The second round of eggs will be born as well, numbers and colors not yet determined. APRIL - Lumina won't really mind the harp, her emotions are already pretty chaotic. That said, she is going to have a breakdown towards the end of the month that will result in her smashing the harp. Need someone to be around while she breaks down. May - Lumina will be hunting the swans for the cash money! Also people may find her training young chocobos in their magic while she does it! The third set of chocobo eggs will be born this month, numbers and colors not yet determined.. SUMMER IN 2,701 (Jun, Jul, Aug) June - As people prepare to clean up the Jabberwock stuff, Lumina will basically run away to a boat adventure with the Outsider in order to avoid thinking about it and getting sad again. She will be heading to the tournament in Treun to watch the excitement but won't be fighting! July - Lumina will return from sea adventures! The fourth clutch of chocobo eggs will be born here, numbers and colors to be determined. As the ranch becomes more crowded, Lumina's focus will be mostly on it for the next few months until she adjusts. August - Forest golems in the trees surrounding Lumina's ranch will do some small damage to the ranch and buildings there before being driven off by the chocobos and Lumina and whomever happens to be around. Lumina will be at the festival of light in Leathann! FALL IN 2,701 (Sept, Oct, Nov) September - Lumina will be at the harvest festival, and probably watching the bread riots with great amusement. The language problems won't change how she speaks (FFXIII doesn't really have languages as a concept) but she won't be able to understand anyone who is not speaking 'English', for the sake of convenience! October SAMHEIN! Lumina may try to talk to the Black Shuck. The Fifth clutch of chocobo eggs will be born this month, however owing to the nature of the month, all eggs will be Black Chocobos. November - Lumina will have some run ins with the escaped prisoners, probably helping to catch them or letting them go depending on her whim, really. WINTER IN 2,701/2,702 (Dec, Jan, Feb) December - Yule! Lumina will be getting gifts for all of her friends! She will also attempt to talk to the white hart, rather than hunt it, which may result in an animal transformation? January - Reclaiming her room in the rebuilt Caer Scima, being happy to see the city in one piece again. Shard training with Ganondorf/the shade in exchange for chocobos for his soldiers? February - Lumina will be at the feast, oblivious to the violence towards the elves! The first chocobo clutch of spring will be born, the largest yet as the various chocobos from last year begin to come of age. SPRING IN 2,702 (Mar, Apr) March - Lumina will spend a chunk of the month protecting her ranch from the skeletons, until she's managed to teach her chocobos to kick the creature's skulls off. Several chocobos will be killed, which will have her pretty angry. April - Three of Lumina's imps will go missing! Along with many she is friends with in the court. She will be exceedingly upset and begin searching for them everywhere she can.

[Into the magic they go, deposited a moment later on a beach on the south-west side of the island.]

...This is as close as I've ever really been up here.

[She said as she let go of his hand, taking a few steps towards the water.]

[ He follows, doing a few mental calculations to reorient himself. He may have to ask a few of the fish when they get in the water, just to double-check that they're headed in the right direction, but he's fairly certain he can get to the place the whales have described to him from here. ]

I do not know of many shardbearers who have been to this place, [ he adds after a moment. ]

For a while I was trying to go everywhere, you know? I'd bring Chaos and just walk for a while, then go home for the night, come back where I'd stopped and walk some more.

[She leaned down to let the edge of a wave swish over her fingers.]

But I got distracted. Or bored. I don't know.

Perhaps you felt lonely.

[ It is not something that he feels too terribly often, but- he's seen it enough. ]

You and I, we will see part of the world that we have not before, now.

[She grinned at that, spinning around.]

And maybe meet a giant monster! Who can resist that, right?

[And back to the ocean.]

How long's it gonna take to find a whale?

Indeed.

[ He actually rather wants to meet the Jabberwock as well. ]

I'll call to them. With luck, not long.

[ And with that said he teleports further out, where the water is deeper, and transforms into a whale himself. ]

[Lumina moves to the edge of the water, but hesitates then, if only because she wasn't really planning to go into a freezing ocean in a dress.]

[She was tempted to teleport out onto his back but that was probably going to get her tossed into the water anyway, so she just crouched down, trying to watch the Outsider as he slid into the water.]

[ Once he's fully transformed, all he does is flap his tail at her. Come along now, Lumina. Time to find the Jabberwock.

He promises not to dive underwater. ]

[She hesitates twice before making an unhappy noise and swirling up into her magic, reappearing on his back with a little 'oomph' as she caught her balance.]

Okay...woah...Onward!

[She giggled once she was stable, pointing into the distance.]

[ Luckily there is a great deal of whale for Lumina to sit on. The Outsider makes some sort of whale-noise, presumably one of agreement, and then begins to swim. He's careful to stay at the surface and does his best not to splash her too much, though it's a bit difficult.

Eventually, the spout of another whale can be seen in the distance. ]

Oh hey, I see one! [She patted the Outsider on his big whaley back and pointed unnecessarily.]

Over that way! Uh...North? Let's say north. Northways!

[ In response, the Outsider sings. It's haunting, beautiful but eerie -- short, at first, for Lumina, and then louder. That part is meant for the whale, which swims to meet them.

Excuse them while they have a conversation. At least this whale probably won't mind if Lumina wants to pet it. ]

[And she does very much want to pet it! She scrambles over as close as she can to the edge of the Outsider's whale form, leaning out to trace her not-gloved hand along the whale lightly.]

[It keeps her busy, since she can't speak whale.]

[ The actual whale seems to enjoy it, and the Outsider-whale makes a noise that could be considered amusement. After a while, there's a warning flick of the real whale's fin; it'll be going now.

As it swims away, the Outsider-whale moves past it -- further north. ]

A few more miles, and we will be in the hunting territory the Jabberwock has claimed.

[Lumina hopped back as the whale turned to swish away, giving it a useless little wave of her hand before she turned to 'face' the Outsider. Or at least, where his head was. Somewhere down there.]

Great!

[She grins, clapping her hands in anticipation, but then pauses.]

...You think he's gonna try to eat you?

No.

[ Though it is a thought that he considers now, even as he swims. ]

He should know us for Unseelie shardbearers, no matter the form we wear. Though if he does try, do please set us elsewhere.

[ Like not in the Jabberwock's mouth. ]

[Lumina laughs softly and gives him a reassuring pat on his massive back.]

Okay, I promise I won't let the jabberwocky eat you, Lev. Think you'll be able to sense him coming or anything?

Perhaps.

I don't suppose you brought any lavender with, in case he too causes our flesh to rot.

[ Because then you're going to be rotting on a rotting whale, Lumina, and that's gross. ]

[Lumina grinned and reached down to tap a pouch hanging from her belt.]

I did! Although...I didn't have much. If he's as big as they say...

[Well. That probably wouldn't help, really. Rotting whale and rotting girl.]

He may be able to control it more easily.

[ He's not sure, really. They'll certainly find out. ]
