Grell is pretty fantastic, she can probably manage this.

[There's a very, very long pause.] Unbelievable.

[He knows exactly what "south" means in this context. He's not sure how to feel about that.]

[Pause.]

What are dryads supposed to do? [He's not even going to touch on the whole murdering thing. That much was obvious. The fire in La Llorona. The decimation of Caer Scima. Everything's a wreck.]

You really didn't know? She's basically telling people to either fight, evacuate, or bring back the monster and anytime anybody asks she's giving them your name. [Judging by what he can see on that post, anyway.]

Well, they're magic plant people, and we need lavender. In February. [Where else can they get it?]

Oh man. [Lumina with responsibility. She looks a bit panicked.]

That's uh. Okay. Okay I can do that. [She might be talking to herself a little.]

He recognizes that look. He's felt that way and he lets her talk to herself for a minute before he cuts in again.]

Right. I mean, I don't really, I just know what the imps told me but uh. [Okay, deep breath.]

I got kicked off the battle field, but I can't just sit here doing nothing. What do you have in mind?

Well. [She's thinking.] We need ways to entertain it. The imps say it likes riddles and puzzles, so if we can get enough of them, we can kind of...lure it around with them?

Riddles and puzzles...[There's the sound of Hiro leaning back in his chair, fingers tapping on something Lumina can't see. It's so nice to have his tablet up and running here. He's already thinking of a plan, but is it plausible? It's hard to say.]

How much time do we have? Do we know?

[She can tell he's thinking. She'd make a joke about it, but she's a bit more subdued around him than last time.]

[Sorry Lumina. He knows this is kinda awkward but he'll figure it out later. This is important.]

What if we build a giant maze leading back to the Dorchadas? It doesn't even have to be solid, we could tear it down as the jabberwock moves through it. Stick puzzles in the middle of it to give it an incentive to keep going. Something.

[Maybe he's thinking on too large of a scale...]

[There's a bit more of the usual snippy teasing then, if only because really?]

That would take months! We might not even have days. The seelie are gonna kill it eventually, if we don't save it!

Hold on a sec. [And there's the sound of the locket sliding over his neck and thumping against his chest as he quickly packs up. He needs to move from his table at the food court and go check on something.] Know anybody who can manipulate the wind? Or anything like that?
